Danielle Clemens of Logic Real Estate was a 2015 GAAR Good Neighbor Award Recipients for her work with LifeQuest USA, a charity that helps mentor at-risk youth in detention centers and when they get out to help provide them with the job and life-skills training they need.

LifeQuest USA Inc. is a 501c3 Public Charity, non-profit ministry to high-risk adjudicated youth in the juvenile justice system.  This includes youth on probation, in detention and on parole.  Secondary to this population, we will work with any youth that could be considered “at-risk”.  This could include, but is not limited to, youth that are in the protective custody system (foster care).

Habitat for Humanity and ReStore of Greater Albuquerque

As part of our mission to create adequate housing, develop functioning cities and preserving a healthful environment in Bernalillo, Valencia, Sandoval and Torrence Counties, the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS® has joined forces with the Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity.

Our work with property owners, sellers and buyers in the region makes the partnership a perfect fit.

Not only can our Realtors help with Habitat for Humanity builds, they can also help fundraise by raising awareness with their associates and clients to donate to ReStore – a special thrift store where the public can both donate or shop to help.

Volunteer helping at Boys and Girls Club of Central New Mexico

The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR)  has joined forces with the Boys & Girls Club of America (BGCA), the largest youth serving organization in the U.S., with more than 4,100 Clubs located in every state and on military installations around the world.

To follow suit, the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS® (GAAR) has joined forces with The Boys and Girls Club of Central New Mexico (BGCCNM) to raise funds, attract new volunteers and raise awareness to their cause.

Our partnership started in 2015 when we gifted $2,500 to the Boys and Girls Club of Central New Mexico as one of our signature charities for the next 3 years.  We also have helped fundraise as a Dream Partner for their 2016 Blue Door Ball coming up on April 9th

Through their dedicated efforts and involvement, REALTORS® have positively influenced the shaping of our neighborhoods and communities. By establishing an endowment fund – The REALTOR® Fund of the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS® – our REALTOR® members demonstrate their ongoing pledge to honor their responsibilities to the community and to express gratitude for a successful real estate industry.

In 2011, our local Realtor members created the sustainable endowment to help support the community through charitable giving in Bernalillo, Valencia, Sandoval and Torrance Counties.
