REALTORS® Ida Kelly and Channing Kelly were selected as GAAR Good Neighbor recipients for their contributions to the Food Pantry at SY Jackson Elementary School.

REALTOR® Myra Herrmann has been recognized as a Good Neighbor recipient because of her contributions to Cloud Dancers Therapeutic Horsemanship Program. This local non-profit has provided hundreds of disabled individuals the opportunity to therapeutically interact with horses to address cognitive, physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Those who respond to therapeutic riding include individuals with Down Syndrome, Autism, MS, paralysis, amputations, ADD, ADHD, developmental delays, Cerebral Palsy, brain injuries, strokes, drug or alcohol abuse, hearing and vision

REALTOR® Belinda Franco was selected as a Good Neighbor recipient because of her contributions to Luggage for Kids, a non-profit administered by Red Mountain Family Services.

 
Red Mountain Family Services provides Treatment Foster Care and Home Placement for emotionally and behaviorally disturbed children. Luggage for Kids provides new luggage to foster children with the hope that this small kind act will provide a sense of being cared for and respected. 

Belinda was an older foster child and understands the indignity a child feels when provided a trash bag for their belongings. Her determination to bring awareness to this issue by holding suitcase drives has inspired other brokers to pitch in. This effort has resulted in

Deborah Duran was recognized as a GAAR Good Neighbor for her contributions to Maskup New Mexico in 2020. Maskup New Mexico, a sewing group born out of the COVID-19 crisis when the supply of masks and materials was scarce.

Deborah created masks for First Responders, Native American communities, and the homeless. She personally donated funds and made over 2,000 masks at the beginning of the pandemic.

REALTOR® Mary Bader was recognized as a GAAR Good Neighbor for her contributions to Silver Horizons. 

Silver Horizons is a local non-profit that helps low-income seniors. In Bernalillo County, the need is great with 1 of every 7 seniors living below the poverty level. Silver Horizons strives to help those seniors in need (and the family members who live with them) with free groceries, household bill assistance, and

New Mexico Home Search is a consumer website developed by GAAR to showcase properties statewide. New Mexico MLSs power the site making it the most accurate, up-to-date tool for the public to search for New Mexico listings.

Local REALTORS® are provided a free account but need to claim their REALTOR® profile to gain access to free leads. During March, NMHS will be promoting the site and running a contest to encourage you to update or claim your profile to be entered into the drawing.
